Voici bientôt presque 2 ans que je travaille à la petite semaine sur le projet MeetEnglish. Ce site est a pour objectif de favoriser les échanges entre les anglophones et ceux qui veulent pratiquer l'anglais. Le but étant de profiter de la présence d'anglophones prêts de chez nous pour créer des opportunités de converser en anglais. A travers mon expérience et mes antécédents familiaux, je me suis dis qu'apprendre l'anglais avec des anglophones pouvait être un moyens ludique, efficace et très enrichissant pour non seulement maîtriser la conversation en anglais mais aussi comprendre et apprécier la culture anglaise. Les méthodes d'apprentissage de l'anglais en France ne nous permettent pas d'être alaise dans une réunion pour prendre la parole, pour comprendre un "joke", et pour nous exprimer sans endormir notre auditoire. Dans un contexte professionnel, cela peut avoir des conséquences pénalisantes, et sur le plan purement intellectuel, quel dommage de ne pas comprendre toutes les subtilités de l' english humour. MeetEnglish.com est exclusivement réservé aux échanges avec des anglophones. Cela permet à l'utilisateur de ce service de faire en quelque sorte, un séjour linguistique tout en restant dans sa propre ville...Par la suite, d'autres services seront disponibles pour fournir aux utilisateurs des informations et des supports pour apprendre l'anglais.

It as been nearly 2 years now since I started working on this project. The purpose of this site is to create opportunities for English speakers to meet local residents while they are away in a non English country and vice versa, these local residents then have an opportunity to converse in English. Through my experience in England and my family, I realised that learning English with English speakers can be more fun and more efficient than spending hours in classes or in front of a PC using a multimedia program. Yet this service will not replace the English lessons, but it will surely help non English speakers discovering the English culture in a fun way. On the other hand, I have noticed that while away from your country, people tend to meet and make friends only with people from their own language. Locals they normally meet don't necessarily have an particular interest in spending time with them. Hopefully this service will help the English speakers abroad meeting peoples with whom they have common interest in share a language, a culture or any other activities. MeetEnglish will introduce you directly to that other person who would like to meet you. As English speaker speaker abroad that can be a fast way of creating a new network...Soon MeetEnglish will offer the users more services related to the English culture...
